Ecclesiastes 1:12-18

As much as you chase it wind cannot be caught. Where Proverbs advocates, Wisdom is a tree of life to those who embrace her; happy are those who hold her tightly. The Teacher of Ecclesiastes pushes wisdom and us to such an extreme to show its utterly uncatchable and disappointing nature. So the question arises, “What is the point of it all?” In the greater witness of scripture we find it’s only in wisdom personified that we truly find a wisdom that’s freeing.
